Liberty has added another commitment from the spring transfer portal, adding a pledge from Kentucky transfer corner back Jiquavious Marshall.

Marshall is a 6’4″, 180 pound corner who has all four years of eligibility remaining after redshirting in his first season at Kentucky this past season. Since entering the portal, Marshall picked up numerous offers including from Arkansas State, Toledo, Western Michigan, Ohio, Marshall, and Appalachian State. He took visits to Georgia State and Coastal Carolina in addition to Liberty.

Prior to his time at Kentucky, Marshall played for Westview High School in Macon, Georgia where he was a three-star prospect. He was ranked as the No. 596 overall player and No. 62 cornerback in the 2024 class according to On3.

Marshall will certainly have an opportunity to compete for immediate playing time at corner for the Flames. Amarian Williams is a multi-year starter who returns as do Dexter Ricks and Jamal Miles who figure to factor into the mix there, also.
