Former Liberty Flame Wide Receiver Kyle DeArmon announced via twitter that he will be joining Coach Turner Gill’s staff as Offensive Quality Control.

DeArmon was a member of the Liberty football team from 2006-2010. He originally came to Liberty out of Indian Rocks Christian High school in Clearwater, Florida as a quarterback. In 2009, he switched to wideout where he finished his career his final 2 seasons. DeArmon finished his career with 14 receptions for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns.
DeArmon replaces Adam Morris who left to join Mike Minter’s staff at Campbell.
DeArmon was working at Westminster Christian Academy in Huntsville, Alabama. At Westminster, DeArmon was the Special Teams Coordinator, Wide Receivers, & Linebackers Coach. He also helped coach the JV boys basketball and varsity softball teams. All of this while teaching elementary PE.
