Liberty has announced three additional football games with Coastal Carolina. The Flames will host the Chanticleers on Oct. 14, 2028 and Sept. 29, 2029. Liberty will also travel to Conway, South Carolina on Sept. 18, 2027.
These three games come on the heels of Liberty and Coastal Carolina adding a game for later this season after the Flames lost four games amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Flames will travel to South Carolina to face Coastal on Dec. 5.
Liberty and Coastal Carolina had previously scheduled a home and home series with the Flames going on the road on Sept. 9, 2023 and then host the Chanticleers on Aug. 31, 2024.
The Flames and Chanticleers are long time Big South rivals where one of the teams claimed at least a share of the conference title 11 out of 12 seasons from 2004 to 2015. The current series is tied 7-7.
