Liberty has found their quarterback for the Class of 2023, picking up a commitment from Hank Brown.

Brown is a 6’4″, 195 pound quarterback from Nashville Tennessee and Lipscomb Academy where he is coached by former Super Bowl winning quarterback Trent Dilfer. He is a three-star rated prospect with an offer list that includes Illinois, Minnesota, Pitt, and several FCS schools.

This past season, Brown sat behind Cincinnati signee Luther RIchesson. He played in 10 games as a backup and completed 82 of 114 passes for 1,285 yards, 15 touchdowns, and one interception. This coming year, Brown’s senior campaign, he is poised to lead the Mustangs to a second straight state championship.

Brown transferred to Lipscomb Academy last June from Wheaton-Warrneville South High School in Wheaton, Illinois. His older brother, Parker Brown, is currently a redshirt-freshman quarterback at FCS program Chattanooga.

Over the past month, Brown has taken numerous visits including Liberty (June 6), Texas A&M, and Vanderilt. The Flames offered him on May 13.
