Liberty announced late last week additional games against both Virginia Tech and Old Dominion have been added to future football schedules.
The Flames and Hokies increased their current scheduling agreement, which featured a game in Blacksburg in 2020, by 5 games. Virginia Tech will visit Lynchburg in 2022 and 2030, while Liberty will play at Tech in 2027, 2028, and 2029.
Old Dominion will be Liberty’s opponent to open the 2018 season in Lynchburg, the Flames’ first as an FBS member. The two schools have added a home-and-home series to the 2018 game, played in Lynchburg in 2021 and Norfolk in 2022.
Virginia Tech becomes the 4th ACC opponent scheduled to visit Williams Stadium over the next decade, joining Syracuse (2019), Wake Forest (2025), and Virginia (2027).
