Liberty baseball gets underway starting Friday at 4 p.m. versus Clemson.
Flames coach Scott Jackson announced his weekend rotation in the Liberty Baseball Clubhouse Report. He will throw junior left-hander Mason Meyer in the opener. Liberty went 10-5 in games that Meyer started last year. Meyer posted a 6-4 record with a save and a 4.28 ERA over 80 innings while striking out 60 and walking 33.
Junior right-hander Noah Skirrow gets the ball on Saturday (1 p.m. scheduled start) after making 15 starts a season ago. He posted a 5-6 record with a 3.76 ERA over 76 2/3 innings in 2019.
Sophomore lefty Joe Adametz will pitch on Sunday (1 p.m. scheduled start). As a freshman in 2019, he made 15 starts and posted a 7-2 record with a 4.04 ERA in 78 innings. Adametz was named to the ASUN All-Freshman team and was tied for third in the ASUN in wins.
