The Liberty baseball team will open the 2023 season with a three-game series at Southern Miss, beginning Feb. 17. The home opener is scheduled for March 1 against Longwood.
We continue our Liberty baseball video preview series with this interview with outfielder Will Stewart. Stewart has transferred to Liberty from North Carolina where he played the past three seasons. Stewart has one year of eligibility remaining after playing 43 games and making 27 starts for the Tar Heels. In his time at UNC, Stewart had 16 hits, 16 runs, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 16 RBIs, and was walked 20 times.
