While college basketball never finished its 2019-20 season, plans for the 2020-21 season are underway.

According to CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Liberty is scheduled to play in a tripleheader in Charlotte on Nov. 13.

Liberty will play East Carolina, while Virginia will face Temple, and Virginia Tech will meet Davidson, in a non-conference basketball event. This will not be a tournament.

The Flames defeated ECU, 77-57, in Greenville, North Carolina on Nov. 16 this past season in a buy game. Caleb Homesley led the way with 25 points and 9 rebounds for the Flames. The Pirates finished this past season at 11-20 overall and 5-13 in the AAC under 2nd year head coach Joe Dooley.
