Liberty will continue to receive increased national attention following the team’s first ever win over Virginia Tech, 38-35, this past Saturday. With the win, the Flames have moved up to No. 22 in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the Coaches Poll.
The Flames will return home for a single game against Western Carolina this Saturday at Williams Stadium. Liberty is currently a 32.5 home favorite for Saturday’s game scheduled for a noon kickoff on ESPN3. Here’s a look at what bowl game Liberty is being projected into by various publications.
- ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura: Boca Raton Bowl vs UCF (4-2)
- ESPN’s Mark Schlabach: New Mexico Bowl vs Nevada (3-0)
- CBS’ Jerry Palm: Montgomery Bowl vs UAB (4-3)
