With Liberty’s win Thursday night over North Florida, the Flames move into first place atop the ASUN standings with just one more week to play in the regular season.
This week, Liberty is being projected in 90 of the 116 brackets included on Bracket Matrix and being pegged anywhere from an 11 to a 14 seed with an average of 12.17.
North Florida is still being selected as the ASUN representative in 26 brackets, receiving a 16-seed in most projections. This is something that is likely to change once all the brackets in the matrix have been updated after Thursday night’s action.
Bart Torvik gives Liberty an 81.1% chance to make the NCAA Tournament. The Flames are most likely to receive a 12-seed according to this metric, as Liberty has a 70.7% chance at a 12-seed, a 2.4% chance at an 11-seed, and a 8% chance at a 13-seed.
