Liberty defensive end Zack Amerson has entered the transfer portal.
The 6’4″, 225 pound lineman was part of Liberty’s 2019 recruiting class and one of the first verbal commitments in that class under former Liberty head coach Turner Gill. Amerson redshirted during his true freshman campaign in 2019.
The Greenwood, South Carolina native graduated from Emerald High School. He was a two-star rated prospect out of high school with offers from Georgia Southern, Charleston Southern, Tennessee Tech, and Wofford.
Since entering the portal last week, Amerson has received offers from North Greenville, Edinboro, Catawba, and Colorado Mesa, all Division II schools.
