Last month, Liberty officially announced its 2023 and 2024 football schedules, including a game in 2023 against East Tennessee State.
Today, ETSU announced an additional game in Lynchburg against the Flames in 2025, date has yet to be announced.
This is the 10th game finalized for the 2025 season which is scheduled to open Aug. 30 at Williams Stadium against Wake Forest. In addition to the ACC opponent and FCS ETSU, the Flames are also scheduled to host Western Kentucky, Miami (OH), Appalachian State, and UMass that season.
The 2025 road slate currently includes MTSU, Army, Georgia Southern, and Duke.
The Flames and Buccaneers have met ten previous times, with ETSU owning a 5-4-1 record with the most recent meeting coming in 2003.
