As the status of the 2020 football season continues to be a question around the country this past weekend, college football players took to social media to let their voices be heard with the “We Want to Play” movement.
Reports began to surface over the weekend that the Big Ten would follow the MAC’s decision to forego a fall football season with an announcement to come as soon as today. Many prominent college football players began to speak out about their intent on wanting to play led by Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
A few Liberty football players began to voice their support for the “We Want to Play” movement and the fall 2020 season.
