Liberty has picked up a commitment from Da’Qon Stewart, a wide receiver prospect from North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Stewart is a 3-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and Rivals. The 2020 prospect was ranked as a No. 17 prospect in the state of North Carolina by the 247Sports Composite ratings. He was a South Carolina commit but never signed with the Gamecocks. Stewart also had offers from Akron, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, UMass, Penn State, Syracuse, and West Virginia.
The 6’2″, 195 pound receiver is expected to enroll at Liberty this fall.
