Nate Hampton committed to Liberty on Sunday afternoon, becoming the 4th commitment of the 2021 class.

Hampton is a 6’6″, 230 pound quarterback from Davie County High School in Mocksville, North Carolina. The 3-star quarterback had over 20 offers including Akron, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, FIU, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Charlotte, UAB, West Virginia, FAU, Marshall, Kent State, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky, Toledo, UConn, Dartmouth, Princeton, Penn, and Yale.

As a junior last year, Hampton completed 263 of his 437 passes for 3,295 yards and 22 touchdowns while adding 427 rushing yards and another 10 touchdowns.

Hampton joins a class that includes OL Harrison Hayes, JUCO DT Brian Merritt, and DB Wendell McClain.
