Liberty has made the top three for Class of 2023 prospect Cal Grubbs, he announced Wednesday evening on Twitter. The Flames are among his top suitors with Duke and Miami Ohio.
Grubbs is a 6’4″, 290 pound offensive lineman from Maryville, Tennessee where he attends Maryville High School. He was a high school teammate of current incoming Liberty freshman wide receiver Markel Fortenberry. Grubbs, who is projected as an interior offensive lineman and could end up at center, has already taken visits to his top three schools earlier this summer.
He has over 20 offers total including Air Force, Army, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Louisiana, MTSU, Navy, Ole Miss, Tulane, USF, and Virginia.
