Liberty has made the cut for the top 4 for 3-star safety Dre Pinckney. His top 4 is Liberty, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State.
The 5’11”, 185 pound 2021 prospect is from Boiling Springs, South Carolina where he is teammates with fellow 3-star safety Caden Sullivan. Sullivan recently put Liberty in his top 6 with Appalachian State, Temple, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and Vanderbilt.
According to MaxPreps, Pinckney had 45 tackles and 2 interceptions this past season at Boiling Springs. He also had offers from Air Force, Akron, Appalachian State, Army, Charlotte, Miami (OH), Navy, and several FCS schools.
Pinckney has received interest, but no offers, from several of the blue blood football schools including Notre Dame, where he visited Feb. 1 for a junior day recruiting event.
