Independence (OH) class of 2021 Shawn Munnerlyn has released his top eight schools and Liberty is part of the pack. The Flames have company with Boston College, Kansas, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Purdue, Toledo, and Rutgers.
Munnerlyn has 22 offers. The 6’5″, 210 pound receiver is a 3-star rated prospect according to both Rivals and 247Sports. Liberty made the cut ahead of several FBS schools including Washington, Akron, Army, Ball State, Bowling Green, Coastal Carolina, Kent State, Navy, Ohio, and Old Dominion. Liberty was his first Division I offer.
