Liberty has been listed among the top 10 schools for 3-star quarterback prospect Conner Harrell. The Flames are in the mix for the 6’1″, 190 pound dual-threat quarterback from Alabaster, Alabama where he attends Thompson High School, the same school that produced Taulia Tagovailoa. Harrell’s complete top 10 includes Liberty, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Northwestern, Indiana, TCU, Duke, Louisiana, Nebraska, and West Virginia.
Harrell is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports where he is ranked as the 27th best prospect in Alabama and the 9th best dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2022. He is also ranked a 3-star prospect by Rivals. Harrell has nearly 30 offers as he trimmed the likes of Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Houston, Louisville, Memphis, Tennessee, UCF, Virginia Tech, Washington State and several others after choosing his top 10.
This past season, as a junior, Harrell led his team to an unbeaten season and a state title and was named Alabama Class 7A back of the year. He passed for 3,516 yards and 42 touchdowns while completing 226 of 309 passes with only three interceptions. He added 292 rushing yards and an additional six touchdowns, as he accounted for 48 of his team’s 78 total touchdowns.
