Liberty has made the cut for Ryland Gandy, a three-star rated cornerback from Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. The Flames made the cut alongside Notre Dame, West Virginia, Oregon State, Virginia Tech, UCF, Nebraska, Auburn, Indiana, Michigan State, Boston College, and Pitt.

Gandy is a 6’0″, 170 pound prospect in the class of 2022. 247Sports ranks him as the 86th best corner in the country and 69th best prospect out of Georgia for the 2022 class. Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Penn State, USC, and others had offered him but did not make the cut.
