On Friday, 2021 athlete Aaron Smith announced his top 3, including Liberty alongside Northern Iowa and Yale.

Smith is from Waukee High School, in Waukee, Iowa. The current senior has the ability to play on both sides of the ball at the high school level. He also plays special teams as a return man. Reports from Smith, has hinted towards the idea Liberty is viewing him as a defensive back, when talking to a Des Moines Register reporter, Matthew Bain.

Smith is listed at 5’11 and weighs 170 pounds. He has multiple offers from Ivy League schools and multiple other group of five schools similar to Liberty. It seems Smith is interested in Iowa and Iowa State, but neither school has offered him yet.
