Liberty has made the top three for three-star defensive line product Marcus Calvin, he announced on Monday. The Flames have made his finalists alongside Kansas and Vanderbilt.

Calvin is a 6’2″, 290 pound defensive lineman from Saint Petersburg, Florida where he attends Gibbs High School. The 2023 prospect also touts offers from FIU, Jacksonville State, Marshall, and Tulane. He took an official visit to Kansas in June. Liberty just offered him in early July.

Liberty currently has 12 commitments in the Class of 2023 including pledges from defensive linemen JaQuize Buycks, Mamadou Cissokho, and Eliyt Nairne.
