Liberty has made the top five for defensive end Denis Jaquez alongside Rutgers, Texas A&M, Northwestern, and Maryland. Jaquez says he will announce his commitment on Wednesday, June 23 at noon.

The three-star prospect from St. Augustine Prep and Richland, New Jersey has over 20 offers that includes Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Appalachian State, Army, Wake Forest, UConn, and several others in addition to his top five list.

The Class of 2022 prospect visited Liberty on June 11. He has also taken a visit to Rutgers, on June 2, and took an official visit to Northwestern June 18. Last season, Jaquez recorded 25 tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble in seven games. He also has played tight end.
