Liberty has made the top four for talented tight end Jake McTaggart alongside Troy, Kansas, and Charlotte. He is currently scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Liberty on July 26.

McTaggart is a 6’7″, 230 pound tight end from Hayesville High School in Hayesville, North Carolina. The class of 2022 prospect is rated as a three-star tight end by 247Sports. He also had offers from Air Force, Kentucky, Old Dominion, UAB, and Western Kentucky.

“Out of the options on the table for me, Liberty really stood out to me,” McTaggart said of the Flames. “The football there as well as the core values of the school is something that I’m very interested in. As well as the fact Coach Aigamaua and I talk almost everyday and we have grown a good connection.”
