Over the past couple of seasons, Liberty has turned to transfers, both from other Division I programs and JUCO prospects, and on Tuesday the Flames offered a Power Five transfer running back. Liberty has extended an offer to Utah’s T.J. Green.
Green is a 5’11”, 200 pound running back originally from Chandler, Arizona where he was a three star rated prospect at Chandler High School. He appeared in 25 games at Utah over the past three seasons and totaled 59 carries for 258 yards and 1 touchdown while adding 4 receptions for 15 yards. Liberty is the first reported offer for Green since he entered the transfer portal less than two weeks ago.
Out of high school, Green also had offers from Oregon State, Boise State, Hawaii, and others.
Blessed to say that I have received my first offer from Liberty University! @LibertyFootball @BruceSJohnson pic.twitter.com/M6l9ScC3pK
