Liberty has wasted little time turning its attention to the 2026 recruiting class, offering rising 10th grader Kobe Edwards earlier this week.
The Flames aren’t his first offer but certainly one of the first as Edwards has already picked up offers from Texas A&M, High Point, East Carolina, and College of Charleston. Edwards is a 6’1″, 150 pound guard that attends Greensfield School in Wilson, North Carolina.
Liberty has already picked up two commitments in the Class of 2024 from Brett Decker and Will Gibson. Just last week, the Flames added a commitment from 2025 guard Zander Carter. Now, McKay and his staff has even turned to the 2026 class while they will still certainly keep their tabs on the other classes as their respective signing dates approach.
After a great conversation with Coach McKay I am blessed to receive a D1 offer from Liberty University.@LibertyMBB @HoopStateAnt @CoachRod_Trezz @GFSBasketball pic.twitter.com/UUxLZEDASD
