Liberty has picked up a commitment from Class of 2022 cornerback Antwon Jackson, he announced on twitter Tuesday morning. Jackson is a 6’0″, 155 pound defensive back from Warner Robins, Georgia where he attends Warner Robins High School.
Jackson also had offers from Florida Atlantic and Pittsburgh. He was timed in a 4.35 40-yard dash at camp this summer. Jackson is one of three commitments Liberty’s coaching staff hinted towards on social media Monday. The Flames also landed former four-star defensive tackle and Auburn transfer Jay Hardy.
Jackson is the ninth verbal commitment for Liberty in the Class of 2022 and the first cornerback. He joins fellow defensive backs Brylan Green and Akhori Jones who announced their commitment to Liberty over the weekend.
