Liberty has picked up a commitment for the class of 2022 from guard D.J. Moore.
Moore is a 6’3″ guard from Worthington, Ohio where he attends Worthington Christian School. He also has offers from Ohio and Miami (OH).
Moore has also excelled on the gridiron playing wide receiver for his football team, earning first-team all-state honors last season. He was also named first-team all-state in basketball as a sophomore when he averaged 15.3 points per game and helped the Warriors reach the district finals. As a freshman, Moore was named the Mid-State League Ohio Division’s player of the year.
Ohio State has shown him plenty of attention on the recruiting trail, hosting him on three unofficial visits. Dayton has also hosted him and visited him in practice. Moore has also received interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Elon, and Air Force.
He’s the first commitment for the Flames in the Class of 2022. McKay and Liberty have commitments from rising seniors Brody Peebles and Joseph Venzant in the Class of 2021.
