Liberty has picked up a commitment from Miyon Conaway, a weakside defensive end product from Hazelhurst, Georgia where he attends Jeff Davis High School, according to sources. He is on campus this week taking part in Liberty’s camps.
Conaway is a three-star rated prospect according to Rivals. His offer list includes Mississippi State, Missouri, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, TCU, Troy, and Western Kentucky. He also camped at Georgia Southern earlier this month. In nine games played during his junior season, Conaway amassed 19 tackles, three tackles for loss, seven QB hurries, and one sack.
Liberty was Conaway’s 11th offer, coming in early March. He picked up his first offer from local Georgia State on Jan. 28. His first Power Five offer came from TCU in early February. Conaway becomes the second commit in the Class of 2022 as the Flames picked one up earlier this week from WR Josh Dallas.
