Liberty has picked up a commitment from Temple defensive back Dominick Hill. Hill entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Temple. The 6’0″, 188 pound Hill began his career at South Carolina before joining the Owls.
Hill played sparingly in his first two years with the Gamecocks. He did not record any stats as he redshirted his freshman season. In year two, he played in four games and recorded six tackles before entering the portal.
When he left Columbia, Hill found his new home in Philadelphia with Temple. He appeared in all 12 games during the 2022 season while he made 29 tackles and deflected five passes. In 2023, Hill finished with 49 tackles and four PBUs.
Originally from Orlando, Hill was a three-star recruit out of high school in the 2020 class. He was rated the No. 650 overall prospect and the No. 113 wide receiver in the class. Obviously, Hill has now switched to the defensive side of the ball where he has played throughout his collegiate career.
