The New Mexico Lobos released information on several future games earlier today, included was a home and home series with Liberty. The Flames will play in Albuquerque on September 29, 2018 and will host the Lobos on September 28, 2019.
New Mexico is a member of the Mountain West Conference where they went 6-2 in conference play and 9-4 overall in 2016. The Lobos played in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on December 17th where they defeated UTSA, 23-20.
This is the first reported game Liberty has scheduled since its announced move to FBS in February. The Flames are required to play 3 FBS home games in 2018 and at least 5 each season thereafter.
