Liberty target Maurice Freeman has announced a commitment date of August 1st.

With the Virginia High School League all but canceling football this fall, Freeman has stated he will not be playing his senior season if the season is moved to the fall. Instead, he will be finishing high school and enrolling in college for the spring semester.

The 3-star safety is one of the top prospects in Virginia. Out of Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, the 6’0″, 190 pound prospect has Liberty has one of his top schools. He previously named a top 9 of Liberty, East Carolina, Old Dominion, FAU, Pitt, Ole Miss, Appalachian State, Georgia Tech, and Indiana.
