A source with direct knowledge has confirmed to us that Liberty and Monmouth will meet on the gridiron in 2013. Monmouth competes in the Northeast Conference where they finished in 3rd place at 4-3 in 2012. The Hawks finished 5-5 overall in 2012. Liberty and Monmouth have never faced each other before. We were told that “no date has been set yet” although it appears September 7th is the most likely.

Monmouth is located in West Long Branch, New Jersey.

Liberty is no stranger to the NEC as they have played St Francis and Robert Morris in recent years.
