Liberty will receive $1.5 million for its November 13, 2021 visit to Ole Miss, according to copy of the contract obtained from the University of Mississippi under the Freedom of Information Act.
Currently, this is the largest reported figure the Flames will receive for a football game. Previously, it was reported that Liberty will receive $500,000 and $700,000 for games against the University of Virginia, $1 million from Rutgers, and $1.25M from Auburn.
The meeting in 2021 will be the first ever meeting between Liberty and Ole Miss, and it is currently just the 2nd ever meeting scheduled between the Flames and a member of the SEC. Liberty is scheduled to face Auburn in 2018.
Earlier this month, Liberty announced its full 2018 schedule, and just late last week announced the 2019 home opener against Syracuse. This all comes on the heels of the school’s announced move to FBS in February.
