Kickoff times and TV information has been released for most of Liberty’s football games in 2024 as the Flames attempt to repeat as CUSA Champs.
At least six of the team’s 12 games will be on linear TV with five on CBS Sports Network and one on ESPN2. At least two games will be on ESPN+ while two others will be on ESPN platforms and will be announced which network specifically 12 days prior to each game’s kickoff. These games could be on ESPN+ or one of the linear ESPN Networks.
Also, Conference USA has announced their annual championship game will be played this year on Friday, Dec. 6 and it will be televised on CBS Sports Network with kickoff at 8 p.m. ET. The game will feature the top two teams in the conference regular season standings and it will be played at the home field of the team that finishes the regular season in first place.
The season will begin for the Flames on Saturday, Aug. 31 against Campbell at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia. Kickoff has been set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
The following week, the Flames will take on New Mexico State in a rematch of last year’s CUSA Championship Game. The Flames and Aggies will meet in New Mexico on Saturday, Sep. 7 in a game that will be televised on ESPN2 at 10:15 ET.
On Sept. 14 and 21, Liberty return home to take on UTEP and East Carolina, respectively. Both games are scheduled for 6 p.m. The game against the UTEP Miners will be on ESPN+ while teh game against the ECU Pirates will be on an ESPN Network to be announced later.
TV and kickoff information for Liberty’s game at Appalachian State on Sep. 28 has not been released yet.
All three of Liberty’s midweek games in October this season will be televised on CBS Sports Network beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. Following a bye week, the Flames will head to Kennesaw, Georgia to take on CUSA and FBS newcomer Kennesaw State on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. The Flames will conclude the month of October in Lynchburg against Jacksonville State on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
As the calendar shifts to November, Liberty will play at Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 9. The game between the Flames and Blue Raiders is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
TV and kickoff information for Liberty’s game at UMass on Nov. 16 has not been released yet.
Liberty’s regular season home finale at Williams Stadium will be on Nov. 23 against Western Kentucky. The Flames and Hilltoppers are scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. on an ESPN Network to be announced at a later date.
The Flames conclude the 2024 regular season on the road, taking on Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas. The game has been moved to Friday, Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving, and will be televised on CBS Sports Network at 3:30 p.m. ET.
