Brad Soucie, who has served on Liberty head coach Ritchie McKay’s staff his entire coaching career, has been named one of the 50 Most Impactful Low-Major Assistant Coaches by Silver Waves Media.
Soucie has been on staff at Liberty the past 5 seasons, helping the Flames turn into one of the top mid-major programs in the country. Liberty has increased its win total every season over the past 5 years, including the recently completed 30-4 season which set a program record for wins.
Liberty has compiled a 117-58 (.667) overall record during Soucie’s time at Liberty the past 5 seasons, securing two ASUN regular season championships, two ASUN tournament championships, and the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament win in 2019.
Prior to the past 5 seasons at Liberty, Soucie served as Virginia’s Director of Player Development for 6 seasons alongside Ritchie McKay on Tony Bennett’s staff. Soucie has over 22 years of experience in the Division I ranks having also made stops at Portland State, Colorado State, Oregon State, and New Mexico.
