The spring semester at Liberty is over and the start of summer signals that the college football season is really just a couple of short months away and it’s time to start arguing about how many games the Flames can win this year.

For Liberty, there are a lot of question marks and unknowns coming out of the spring, as there is a new coaching staff in place, led by head coach Jamey Chadwell, and several new faces on the field. In spite of all the turnover, hopes remain high for the Flames to reach a fifth consecutive bowl game.

2023 marks the first year for Liberty in the new look Conference USA, and the upcoming fall schedule for the Flames looks much more manageable compared to last year’s slate that featured games against four Power Five programs.

So how many games can Liberty win in 2023? According to Draft Kings, the over/under is set at 9.5. The odds on the under are currently -150, meaning money has been coming in on the under since it was posted.
