Stony Brook standout RB Miguel Maysonet will go down as one of the Big South’s best running backs, if not the best. Maysonet owns Big South records for career rushing touchdowns, career rushing yards, and single season rushing yards, just to name a few. He currently ranks #2 in all of FCS in all purpose yards, scoring, and rushing yards. For the season, Maysonet has 1,651 yards rushing on 198 carries and 17 touchdowns.
Maysonet is also on the Walter Payton Award watch list which is awarded each season to the most outstanding player in all of FCS. Reports state that 28 of 32 NFL teams have sent scouts to visit him.
