Mike Brown hosted his first annual football camp this past weekend in Charlottesville at his alma mater Monticello High School.

Liberty receiver Darrin Peterson has been named to the 2014 CFPA FCS Wide Receiver Award Watch List. Peterson is one of 38 receivers listed and joins Big South brethren Kenny Cook (Gardner-Webb) and Tobi Antigha (Presbyterian) who are also on the list. Josh Woodrum, Nick Sigmon and Jacob Hagen have also been named to their respective CFPA FCS Award Watch Lists as mentioned previously.

2015 football prospect Joshua Allen was on campus over the weekend. He has offers from several schools in the region including Liberty, Appalachian State, James Madison, and Charlotte.
