Liberty has filled its scholarship allotment for the 2022-23 men’s basketball, and the Flames’ coaching staff has begun to turn their attention to recruiting in future classes. One of those names is Chase Walker, who has picked up an offer this week from Liberty.
Walker is a 6’8″, 335 pound prospect from Columbus, Ohio where he attends St. Charles Prep School. In addition to his offer from Liberty, he also has offers from Toledo and Stony Brook. He averaged 19 points per game this past season while averaging over 10 rebounds per game and shooting over 60% from the field.
The Flames could have as many as four scholarships to fill for the 2023-24 team depending on who elects to use their extra year of eligibility due to the COVID pandemic.
