While the Liberty football team was busy defeating UAB in the home opener for the 2022 season, Ritchie McKay and the men’s basketball team was also busy. The Flames welcomed Lewis Walker to campus for an official visit and offered him a scholarship while he was on his visit.

Walker is a 6’6″, 200 pound wing from Winston Salem, North Carolina where he attends Winston Salem Christian School. The 2024 prospect adds Liberty to his list of offers that includes Wake Forest, High Point, Coastal Carolina, Ohio, and North Carolina A&T.

Liberty has a commitment from 2023 guard Curtis Blair III, the only current commitment for the Flames for future recruiting classes. Blair was also on campus this past weekend.
