In June, Liberty offered 2025 guard Chance Mallory, and now the in-state prospect has taken a visit to the Lynchburg campus.
The 5’9″ guard was on campus this weekend checking out the Liberty basketball program. Mallory attends St. Anne’s Belfield in Charlottesville and has turned heads this summer with his play. He currently also holds an offer from NJIT.

Liberty’s men’s basketball’s coaching staff has zeroed in on its 2023 recruiting class as we head into the summer ahead of the early signing period in November. However, that hasn’t stopped the Flames from looking at prospects from future classes.
On Monday, Liberty offered Class of 2025 prospect Chance Mallory. He is a 5’9″ point guard that attends St. Anne’s Belfield School in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mallory dazzled this past weekend at the Blue Ridge School for the first June Live Period as he averaged 13.2 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game while shooting 35% from three over the weekend.
Mallory now has two early offers, picking up his first from Liberty’s former ASUN rival NJIT who offered him on May 12. Last season, Mallory averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for St. Anne’s Belfield as he helped them to a VPL Regular Season and Tournament championship while tying the school record with 20 wins.
