Sigmon is expected to play vs Gardner-Webb

Injury update
Some good news this week on the injury front as there are no new additions to the list following the Appalachian State game. Also, Nick Sigmon is listed as probable and is expected to play after missing the previous 2 games. Wesley Scott, who left the Richmond game with an injury, is listed as questionable. Todd Macon and Jimmy O’Grady are still out. Offensive lineman Tanner Hartman is also out; he will be replaced in the lineup by Aharown Campbell.

Keep an eye on J.J. Hubbard
Gardner-Webb’s J.J. Hubbard is one of the best return men in the conference. He leads the league with 521 kick return yards including one he returned for a touchdown. Hubbard is also GWU’s punt return man, he has 62 punt return yards on 12 returns so far this season. Liberty has 12 punt return yards as a team through the Flames’ first 7 ball games. LU ranks dead last in the Big South with a net kickoff average of just 36 yards. The Flames have given up 399 return yards on 17 kickoff returns this year. So, keep an eye out for Hubbard Saturday afternoon as he has shown the ability to change the game with one kick return. Hopefully John Lunsford will be able to kick the ball out of the back of the end zone all game.

Uniform combo
This week the Flames will wear white helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants.
