Fualaau suspended
Turner Gill announced this week that Nicky Fualaau is suspended indefinitely from all team activities due to a violation of team rules. As is often the case, Gill did not give any further information. Fualaau has been arrested twice in the past 18 months, most recently in April on a public intoxication charge. There’s no indication that the suspension has anything to do with his prior arrests.
Injury update
Cornerback Kenny Scott, who missed the Brevard game due to injury, will play against Bryant. Fullback Garrett Long and tight end Will Johnson will both miss the Bryant game.

Homesley commits
Caleb Homesley, who was on his visit last weekend, gave a verbal pledge to Coach Layer and the Flames. Homesley becomes the first member of the 2015 class. He is a 6’4″ guard who had offers from several schools including Big South members Gardner-Webb and High Point.
Coronado signs with Spanish team
Former Liberty men’s basketball player JR Coronado has signed with a professional basketball team in Spain. Coronado is originally from Venezuela.

- The men’s soccer team swept both of their matchups this week in beating Robert Morris and USC Upstate to move to 4-0-1 on the season.
- The women’s soccer team defeated George Mason on Tuesday to improve to 5-3 on the season.
- The women’s volleyball team won 3 of their 4 matchups last week at the Brown Invitational to move their record to 9-4.
- The women’s field hockey team lost to Lafayette, 4-2, before bouncing back with a win over Penn, 3-2. The Lady Flames are 2-4 on the year.
