Update 4/11: Escobar has committed to North Florida, according to @nationhoops.

Ole Miss freshman guard J.T. Escobar is scheduled to visit Liberty on Tuesday, according to a tweet. Escobar stated he was transferring last week, and mentioned at that time several schools had already begun speaking to him, including Liberty. Other schools mentioned include Charleston Southern, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee, North Florida, and Stetson. He chose Ole Miss out of high school over Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, North Florida, and Stetson. Escobar would have to sit out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules, and would have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining.
