Liberty is coming off a win over Bellarmine which secured them their third consecutive ASUN Regular Season Title and the #1 seed in the ASUN Tournament. As Liberty currently prepares for the tournament, let’s see where the Flames stand in the national rankings.  

NET Rankings: #82

Liberty is ranked 82nd in this week’s edition of the NET Rankings, an eight-spot improvement from the week before. The Flames are 0-2 against Quad 1 opponents, 1-0 versus Quad 2 opponents, 3-2 against Quad 3 opponents, and have a 12-1 record against Quad 4 opponents. The Flames are still the highest-ranked ASUN team by a wide margin, as Bellarmine is the next closest at #172. 

College Insider Mid-Major Top 25: #7

The Flames remained steady at #7 in this week’s Mid-Major Top 25. The Flames have been ranked in the top 15 of the poll every week except one this season. 

KenPom: #83

Liberty jumped 14 spots to #83 in this week’s edition of the KenPom ratings, once again, the highest-rated team from the ASUN. Bellarmine is the second-highest ASUN team at #180. 

Bracket Matrix:

Liberty has made an appearance in 99 out of 100 bracket projections. The Flames boast an average seed of 13.86. The highest seed the Flames received is 13 and the lowest is 15. As of now, there are no other ASUN teams besides Liberty being projected to make the NCAA Tournament. 

College Basketball Power Index: #74

Liberty is ranked 74th in the College Basketball Power Index, a three-spot increase from the previous week. This is the third week in a row that the Flames have improved in the BPI. The Flames have the 256th best SOS (strength of schedule) and the 92nd best SOR (strength of record).
