On Tuesday, Liberty quarterback Malik Willis took to the field for his first day of practice at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. This week is huge for his draft status as he looks to make an impact on NFL Scouts.
Here’s a look at what people had to say about Willis today:

Malik Willis nearly fell, and there was nothing but out of structure he bursted ahead for a 20+ yard run.
Kevin Colbert smiled after that one.

Malik Willis just escaped a would be sack to scramble and find his open man with a side-arm throw.
He’s impressed big time on day one.

Malik also wowed those on hand with some of his throws and the velocity of his passes.

The Steelers were one of the teams that showed a lot of interest in the Liberty prospect. Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin found Willis on the field after Tuesday’s practice at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama. He told the young quarterback that he wanted to meet Willis‘s parents, who were in the stands, according to multiple reports. Tomlin is pictured below with Malik’s parents as well as Steelers’ general manager Kevin Colbert and offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
