This is the first non-conference home contest that has been verified for this upcoming season, which will be the first in the new Liberty Arena. No word yet on the date of this game or if it will be the opener of Liberty Arena for the men’s basketball program.
Morgan State is a member of the MEAC and finished with an overall mark of 15-16 last season with a 9-7 record in conference play. Liberty is 2-3 all-time against Morgan State with the last meeting coming last season in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase and the Flames winning, 89-48.
The rest of Liberty’s non-conference schedule which has been previously confirmed:

11/17 @ Vanderbilt
11/20 @ Notre Dame
11/23-24 Legends Classic in High Point

Uhhhhhhhhhh. We gave Morgan State a 40 point beatdown in the Bahamas last year.
