Liberty point guard Joe Retic will be leaving Liberty, according to a post on his Instagram page.
Retic, a rising senior, was the Flames’ starting point guard this past season. He played in 20 games and averaged 6.7 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. He missed 12 games in conference play due to a broken foot. The 6’3″ guard appeared in 31 games and averaged 4.8 points and 2.6 assists per game during the 2013-14 season. He transferred to Liberty from Owens Community College. Retic is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.
