Liberty head coach Ritchie McKay met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to preview Thursday’s game where the Flames will take on Kennesaw State in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Liberty and KSU are currently tied for first place atop the ASUN Standings at 12-2 in conference play with just four games left in the regular season. Thursday’s game is the only game between the two programs scheduled for the regular season this year in the unbalanced ASUN conference schedule due to 14 teams in the league. The winner will have a leg up in the conference race and own the head to head tiebreaker to determine the regular season champion and who will have home court throughout the ASUN Tournament.
